Preliminary drawings are to give an Architectural drawing of a client’s conceptual idea of what their home will look like with minimal detail.  Preliminary drawings will consist of an e-mailed floor plan(s) and a front elevation of the home.
 
Construction Drawing Phase
Construction drawings are detailed for actual construction of a new home.  A typical construction set of drawing plans would include: a foundation/open basement plan, floor plan(s), a detailed front elevation, conceptual rear / side elevations and a bracing plan.  An extra charge will be tabulated if a site plan or wall sections are requested to be included in the construction set of plans.  Construction drawings are prepared for a general contractor to build a home.  Cabinetry, interior and exterior finish detailing of the home is to be coordinated between the home owner and the general contractor.
 
Design Fee
Design fees are based upon the square footage of the home.  The design fee is to include the preliminary and construction drawings. Finished basement square footage is to be tabulated the same as the main floor square footage.  A minimum of $100.00 deposit shall be received before proceeding with any preliminary design work.  The remaining balance shall be received when the final construction drawings are completed. 
 
 The base design fee includes:
                          -  A preliminary design of the home as described above
                          -  One (1) set of preliminary drawings (e-mailed)
                          -  One (1) design revision (a revision to the interior and/or exterior shape of the home,
                             but maintaining the general concept of the home)
                          -  A final construction design of the home as described above (e-mailed)
                          -  One hour of consulting time.
 
 Home size less than 1,800 sq ft fees
       - A design fee of .20 cents per finished square footage (1 story)
      -  A design fee of .25 cents per finished square footage (2 story)
 
 Home size 1,800 to 2,800 sq ft fees
       -  A design fee of .25 cents per finished square footage (1 story)
       -  A design fee of .30 cents per finished square footage (2 story)
 
 Home size greater than 2,800 sq ft fees
       -  A design fee of .30 cents per finished square footage (1 story)
       -  A design fee of .35 cents per finished square footage (2 story)
 
An additional fee may be charged for any or all of the following:
       -  Additional consulting/drafting time ($25.00 per hour)
       -  General site plan layout ($40)
       -  Additional Cross section(s) ($25.00 per hour, usually ½-1 hour per section)
 
Additional blueprint copies
       -  18” x 24” = $5.00 per sheet (plus delivery)
